SEO Strategies for Articles: How to make your articles look impressive

Before you start writing on anything, here are two recommendations:

1) Check first that there is a logical volume for the subject you will be writing on. You cannot expect traffic on your blog if the subject matter or the topics about which you speak, do not have a reasonable volume of searches.

Remember this: “Behind every great article there is a lot of research”. If you write a good article on something that has lowest or no searches, it is going to be of no use.

2) Your article should make a clear response to the query that has been made.

  • Divide the logical content with H2 and H3 tags. Especially long tail keywords!
  • Use internal linking to help users and search engines. The anchor text should be the phrases that describe the website or landing page.
  • External links: If it is necessary to mention important sites and they are not trusted, add the rel = “nofollow” attribute. If it is not going to contribute to reading, it is better to avoid adding such links.

The image name helps in better positioning of the article or image in searches so avoid generic names like 234234.jpg. The image size should not exceed 100 Kb (can use tynyjpg.com, GIMP, Paint or any image editor to compress the size).
