The coronavirus outbreak is disrupting everyday life and the times when people are active on social media are changing drastically.

Since this is the case, all the previous suggestions related to the best times to post on social media aren’t matching.

As per the Sprout Social’s recently reviewed data for revising its recommendations for 2020, considering the change in peoples’ usage of social media.

They have mentioned that “Overall, we found that the best times to post have shifted somewhat as more aspects of work and life move online-first.

In some cases, we found that these times have shifted more in just the last few weeks of changed behavior than they did from 2019 to early 2020.”

Best Times to Post on LinkedIn

In comparison to the drastic shift in Facebook and Instagram activity, user behavior on LinkedIn is observed to be largely similar.

This is because of LinkedIn’s professional oriented network.

Now the best times to post on LinkedIn are:

  • Thursday at 9–10 a.m.
  • Friday from 11 a.m.-noon.

Additionally, the hours of regular weekday activity now start and end a little later in the day.

Currently, the LinkedIn engagement begins around 8 a.m. instead of 7 a.m. daily.
