How to Access the Plesk Panel?

 2 min

Plesk is a commercial control panel compatible with both Linux and Windows-based hosting services. Its unique graphic interface provides the users with various customization options to alter the settings and manage their hosting account. This article will help you access your Plesk panel account.

To Access the Plesk Panel

Web hosting providers send a notification email to their users with the control panel URL and login credentials for their Plesk account. For example, MilesWeb will send you an email titled: “Web Hosting Activated” on your registered email address.

1. Open MilesWeb’s welcome email that you have received after sign up.

Note: If you do not find the mail in your inbox, check your spam folder.

The email will have all the information regarding your hosting account, login details, server details, etc.

2. Scroll down to the Login Details section of the email where you will find details-

Username – This is the username for your Plesk account.

Password – This is the password for your Plesk account.

Control Panel URL– A URL link to directly access your Plesk account. Usually, this link ends with a 4-digit number like “:8880/” for an HTTP account or “:8443/” for an HTTPS account, as shown in the screenshot.

Note: We recommend you open the URL link in a new tab/window and bookmark the URL.

3. Enter the username and password from your email in the fields and click the Log in button.

The dashboard of your Plesk panel account will open.
