Changing the PHP version is a standard troubleshooting solution to deal with PHP errors on a website. However, you can also change the PHP version of a subdomain with the DirectAdmin panel.
To Change PHP Version of a Subdomain
1. Log in to your account of DirectAdmin.
2. Click on Subdomain Management in the Account Manager section.
A list of subdomains active on your DirectAdmin account will appear
3. Click the Edit button (the one with the pencil icon) for a subdomain to proceed to change its PHP version.
4. Select the preferred PHP Version in the PHP Version Selector section and click on SAVE.
DirectAdmin will successfully change the PHP version for the subdomain.
