How to Create a New Domain Alias in DirectAdmin?

In DirectAdmin, you can create a domain alias to point to the domain name of your choice. The domain alias can be used as an alternative to your original domain name.

To Create a Domain Alias in DirectAdmin

1. Log in to the DirectAdmin panel.

2. Click Domain Pointers in the Account Manager section.

3. Then, click on Create Domain Pointer.

4. The ADD NEW DOMAIN POINTER window shows up, where you have to enter the domain alias in the Source Domain field. Don’t forget to tick the box for Create as an Alias, like in the screenshot below and click on CREATE.

A success message is displayed and, the new domain alias is added to the list of Domain Pointers as shown.
