If your domain shows a wrong website or does not resolve perfectly, there might be many factors behind that. For solving this issue, consider the steps mentioned below:
- Check the expiration date of your domain. If the domain has expired, you will have to renew it ad allow 24 hours for DNS propagation. After this, the domain will start resolving to the right server.
- Check the nameservers of your domain. Check if the nameservers are assigned appropriately.
- Check if there are any redirects in your website and remove them. For this, you will have to login to your web hosting account and look for a .htaccess file. Once you find the .htaccess file, you can disable it by renaming it, for instance, you can rename it to – htaccess.txt
