Here are some quick steps to change the PHP time zone:
- Login to cPanel
- Look for ‘Select PHP Version’
- Click on the option – ‘Switch to PHP options’ on the right hand side
- Mention the time zone under the option ‘date time zone’
To explain the steps further:
In order to change the time zone of your web hosting account, you need to login to your cPanel account first. once you login locate the option – ‘Select PHP Version’. When you click on the ‘Select PHP Version’ icon, the PHP versions will be displayed on the dashboard. If ‘native’ is displayed, then you will have to select another PHP version or contact our support team. If you are working with an alternate PHP version already, you will have to click on the option – ‘Switch to PHP Options’ present on the right side.
Now you will see the option to specify the time zone and many other settings will be displayed. Once you make the changes that you want, click on ‘Save’.
